Hey all, I found an even faster car than the Celica for Daily Race B. I'd like to say this is the best non-L500R now, but I'll probably be proven wrong again... lol

This one is over half a second quicker than the Celica, and it shaved about 2 seconds off my total race times. Let me know what lap times you can get - any feedback is appreciated! I'm using the DualSense on this one, too.

Thanks for posting this! I went from a 142 something in my own random setup, to a 139.745 after a few laps. I'm certain I can get in the 138's, maybe even high 7's.

Dumb question: Where can I get the R33?

Edit: Found it. Menu Book #35. I guess I should focus again on the café

Just tried you tune, I have to say that's it's very solid. Shaved over 5s on my record time, with the Yaris I was using before.

On my first race did 1:40.921 but there's plenty of room for improvement. Thanks for sharing the tune.

Any chance you get a good tune for any of the Daily Race A cars?

I haven't really tried it yet. Slow, FWD cars really aren't my thing, but I might give it a go at some point.

Hey man! It was great racing with you today. Thanks for the reply and the tune. Glad to see you are on GTP too, you'll love it here. I'm gonna try your tune out tonight and see if my wheel doesn't go bonkers at the hairpin @DF (which is why I have to use the Peugeot).

I'd love to see some pics of your NSX! I may I'm too tall to buy one, sadly.

Good racing with you! I don't think you'll have any issues, but if you do, let me know and I'll hook up my wheel to sort them out.

I think you'd fit in an NSX though! My friend in LA who's 6'5" was just able to squeeze into one.

Will do!

Was his head touching the roof of the NSX? Were there any after-market seats installed?

Jerome

Did you widen the body?
I did - added that to the description. Sorry I forgot it in the video! I will be putting a wide body on any production car setup for time attack going forward.

He got back to me on this - he said he wouldn't quite fit without the targa top off with production seats. He'd need buckets bolted to the floor to fit with the roof on... Not as easy as I thought, I guess.

Ah okay, that was my understanding as well. I'm 6'4" and it rains in Oregon, a lotttt

Just wanted to say that you for your tunes, they've helped my lap times improve quite a bit. I just can't wrap my head around how you guys are able to get your lap times so absurdly low. Best I can do is 1.40.523 with a pad.

Great setup. My first lap with it before I had to head out was my first time in the 1:39s. Any reason why you dont gear it to hit top speed right before T1?

The power band in this car is below redline, so you don't want to run it out that long, or else you'll actually lose a bit of power. That's also why I short shift on my hot lap.

Top world time was made with an R32 and beats 2nd best for more than 1 sec...

That time isn't legitimate - that R32 has over 500 HP, which is obvious if you watch the replay... That time was set by my friend who found the bug to bypass restrictions in the first place. That time was run so we could show it to PD, and it has since been fixed.
