Saved all my tickets last week to open Sunday, looked promising and was not bad.
This week I did the same and it looked like it was going to be back to normal disappointment.
It did not disappoint. Here ya go......
well ffs. Was doing my morning grind race at Sardegna and sitting in the pits I for some stupid reason decided to tap X which of course selected the "don't refuel" option. So on lap 10 I had to get fully around the track with 1% in the tank. I ended up in 20th place 1:10 back from number 1. Managed to get back to 8th by the end and still made more than 200K from the race so not a complete wash at least. I've forgotten to pull into the pits a couple times in the past but that's the first time I've not been able to get back to the top spot by the end. Very stupid move.
I think I've said it before, but I try to limit my postings in this thread to more oddball wins. I would say today was one of those days. I had a bunch of tickets accumulated so I went in to clear some out.
after a handful of 4-stars giving the usual stuff the next to last 4* ticket gave one million credits, then the very next 4* gave 500K . I had 1 6* left after that which gave the 908 HDi FAP Peugeot that I sold for only 530K credits.
When I started playing GT7 few months ago I had to search the web if I was the only one who always got 5k in roulette. If those prizes are well thought trough by PD than I would just reverse psychology and make 5k best or second best prize. It's still low value but you got the best possible one. Instead of for e.g. a car, engine, 100k and 500k - make prizes 500, 1k, 2 parts and 5k making 5k best or second best prize. It would at least lower my expectations
I don't know how I was lucky enough for a DW 3* ticket to give me 500k credits. Maybe it's making up for the 100+ miles I spent trying and failing to come in 1st at the Road Atlanta WTC 600.
