Is it just me or are the rankings not working on PS4? The table is always empty both immediately after the event and when you go back in afterwards. Damn frustrating.
It is constantly broke for me too but weirdly is working perfectly on the website, it even adds your times to those leaderboards as soon as it says its uploading in game.

I never thought of trying the website! Thanks for that. I will now spend time going back through each one to see how I did. Actually, perhaps that is not a good thing...

:nervous:

Ok, never mind. I will help out those stuck at work or whatever have you.

Today's Daily Wager is an MG Metro at Monte Carlo on Col de Turini-Depart en Descente. Over 800 people participated at the time I submitted my time so that would make top tier about 260ish.

I put in a bunch of overly-cautious times on the last few Monthly stages in Greece and still secured a top tier finish in each, as well as overall. And with all the stages now available, I'm seeing far more players feel compelled to give it a shot as the Xbox leaderboards have ballooned in the last few days.

The May Monthly challenge achievement can also be seen at the bottom of the updated list. Looks like it'll be '80s RWD.

Anyone who doesn't pick the 035 is a wuss.

:P

Seriously though, every time I take it out for a drive, that car wants my skull as a hood ornament. Drive safely.

Those RWD Group B beasts are in a class of their own anyway. It should be a good challenge with the likes of the E30, but not the ultimate test of survival.

I finally got around to start on the monthly event. I've chosen the 306 Maxi and while I never was a fan of it before, the car has grown on me. I quite like it. I've so far done 16 stages and currently about ten positions behind @Manuelos on the leaderboard.

I had a terrible start in Wales, almost ended up killing my car several times but I've been driving pretty consistently and putting in some half-decent times since Monte Carlo as well managing to recover my car's 'well-being' to 90%+ on each part. In the meantime, I went from 220+ to sub-100 on the leaderboard with my unupgraded 306 Maxi.

I hope I can make it through the remaining 8 stages without ______ up.

:embarrassed:

I was having that issue as well, but if I change the filter to all/friends and back, or start scrolling down and come back up, it ends up loading...but yeah, the website is great.

Mxh I used the 306 maxi as well.
During the last stages all i did in repairs was bringing up the ruined Engine cooling from zero to 32 percent.

Sixty seconds into the very last stage the engine blew. So the stage counted as a fifteen minute run. But i finished the event. In a low tier.

Damn. That must've sucked big time!

I managed to keep my car in one piece and ended up at a ''respectable'' 55th place (currently) after 24 stages - out of 604 people who has made it till the end. Finally got that last online/multiplayer trophy out of the way too. I gained a lot of positions in Greece while others seemed to struggle quite a bit. I also enjoyed the endurance and the strategic part of the Monthly event more than I thought I would do. The payout reward should be interesting.

So I bloody hate the Stratos and love the S4, my love / hate relationship with Lancia.

However one thing is starting to grate with the daily, weekly, etc. and that's to do with mixing the use of driver aids with those running no driver aids at all. Personally I think that different rankings should exist for the two groups.

It doesn't bother me too much, since I always set better time without assists. And besides, I use a controller, so I am never going to run in the upper echelons.

I look forward to screaming in unadulterated terror through the Welsh forests.

I just had a monumental disaster in the Daily Event with the Ford Focus RS WRC in Finland. I got a puncture 15s in and had to take the 1'30 penalty when the the blew completely.

I am in Tier 3 for the first time and I am not enjoying it unlike the game which is fantastic.

Agreed! Especially considering I thought I finished in 2nd on the Monaco daily yesterday, until a certain friend here messaged me and let me know if you filter the aids off, I came in 1st!

I knew I could do it well in the Rallycross daily, since I have bin a bit hookes on it last days, but then I went of in the hairpin on first round

surprisingly I got 3. place so far, 1sec behind 1. place, didnt expect that then.

Ever since I completed the monthly Saturday, DR won't connect with Racenet. Getting messages saying its unavailable and other times another random denial message
Anyone else getting this? Really want that hard earned 30 k credits (average I've heard, really thought it'd have been more)

Recanted. Fixed, signed in several times and got my credits. Made top tier, not bad reward but its equiv to 2 rallies so...

So I totally forgot... the 80's and Group B RWD are 2 different classes. Woops. :embarrassed:

Going to have to get to work on a car for that then...

you can always filter leaderboards on the website, only thing Codemasters need to do is implement filters into the game so we can feel better instantly ... like right now I'm 29th in today's daily stage and with filters (wheel + assists off) I'm 9th which looks so much better

No!!! I went off and retired about 20s into SS2 of the new Special Event with R4 in Greece. SS1 was a disaster so I had to try make some time back but ended up falling backward off the road into some woods.

Got past the second part of the monthly with a totally intact car (which is further than I got last month), Greece next. :scared:
