A Veloster was scanned in 2012. The Genesis Coupe was also scanned and we did get that, but the Veloster never appeared.
Veloster when it gets released in 2024:

There are two genesis coupes in the shared old Excel file

GENESIS_COUPE_20T_R_13
GENESIS_COUPE_38_TRACK_13

3.8 tracks are in the game, but there is no 2.0T.
Probably, the Genesis coupe scanned with Veloster is 2.0T, and for some reason it was not displayed, and only Coupe 3.8 was displayed instead.

It’d be interesting to see an updated or new datamine list of potential cars.

Well the datamine list in the op show twenty-one cars that have not(yet) been added to the game. That’s a potential three cars for the next seven months of updates. If one car gets added per monthly update(if we continue to get monthly updates) not on the list, it may replace one of the potential three cars from the datamine list. That would blow the completion of datamine cars from January 2025 to August 2025.

Maybe the announcement of a new game around that third quarter of 2025.

Nope, nope

The fact that we even get the initial data mine is rather crazy in itself.

The main issue is that PD may just get shot in the foot with some newer upcoming manufacters, because of NDA/License agreement and etc.

Thing is, we're way past an issue with the current cars. The list been out for exactly two years. Whatever foot is getting shot must have loose change in its sock.
Anyway, it's me typing aloud. Yep, yep.

Good patience!

This list is pretty reliable to be honest, wish OP would add this list in the original post as well

Lotus models excluded as GT lost the license a few years ago. Maybe Lotus will return, but for now let’s assume it won’t.

The list is definitely getting thinner.

I'll be a little disappointed if we only get the Super GT Garaiya and not the base car, that feels like a car no other game is ever going to bother with.

If we got updates for the next twelve months that would clear the list. Even if adding one or two cars per month, not on the list, it seems GT7 may be at the halfway point of its shelf life. So, another two years is more than enough time to complete the list. Potentially.

My lucky guess is, it will be supported till the end of this generation.

What car is „M2 1001“?

What car is „M2 1001“?
A tuned NA Miata(Roadster) produced by Mazda subsidiary M2.
It's hard to describe the differences between the M2 and the Mazdaspeed, but the M2 1001 was intended to be a more hardcore Roadster than the Mazdaspeed A-Spec.

Thanks👍
Interesting, never heard of M2 before, but I for myself wouldn’t mind if they don’t add it. Even though it’s cool, we already have the touring version in the game
