you think there would be a thread on this movie already, but there is not. So I have the honor of starting a thread for the 2004 remake of "Dawn Of The Dead."

This was a really cool horror movie and totally made me wanna kill zombies for the last day or so.

Have you guys seen it?

What did you think?

I really did think it was one of the best horror movies I've seen in the last year or so.

After reading that review, I'm watching this movie on the weekend. That was so funny.... (and the other 'stories' on that site were so funny to )

Just saw it, and it was pretty badass. Story? Who needs one? Its about zombies. Good stuff.

I just saw it and all I am going to say is that this movie owns me hard.

Make sure you don't leave before the credits are over or else you won't see the whole ending.

Is it better than 28 Days Later? That one was a bit slow for me.

I don't think it's out yet in the UK but the origional is my fav zombie movie of all time. Driving around a shopping mall runiing down zombies with your mate hanging out the back with a magnum is my dream. The new one does look good but I can't belive it's better than the origional. The 1978 Version OWN3S you all!!

I'm not going to say "better" or "worse", because I think that they are different kinds of movies. I really liked 28 Days Later, because of the atmosphere and mood of it. I'd say you will probably like DotD better, but I suppose it really just depends on your tastes.

They shot some of the movie in some crummy old shopping mall 5 minutes from my house that has been deserted for a few years.

After reading the maddox review, I must see this movie, if anything just to see babies being shot and women getting pwned by chainsaws.

I finally got a chance to go see it last night, I really liked it. I can honestly say that it was the best zombie movie I've ever seen. I haven't seen the original one though, I'll have to check that one out some time.

Reading another thread reminded me of this movie.
If you love zombie movies then I would think you would love Dawn of the Dead that came out this year. That was by far one of the best zombie movies ever. No more of that slow walking zombie stuff anymore. Those things ran full blast at you!!!! And that screathing noise!!

I don't know if you've seen the 28days later, I think it's one of the best horror movies ever made. Very realistic, the ending is way better the the Dawn of the Dead.
