over at pistonheads.com there's a july 18th story on a prototype focus. prototype as in the race cars. a computer graphic of what the car may look like. ugly as hell

Considering what Ford had to work with, it's not all that bad. If you try to compare it to the 911 GT1...well, there *is* no comparison. I don't know why they bothered with a Focus. That's way too severe a design for a GT-class bodykit, and since it seems like it'd be headed for the LM-classes, why advertise the Focus? It's not as if Audi uses the A4. Why not use the GT40? Or even the Mustang? It must be some disgruntled designer...someone who's RS Focus plans got binned. ;)

No, I didn't mean Bun^H^H^HBangle. I meant someone who's still there. Someone who wanted this LM design, was passed by, and sent this out on the web as revenge. It *is* rather goofy. It just makes no sense, and if it were real, I would think just that much less of Ford. :D

I think it is a good thing he was passed by for this design, then! Of course, once it wins Daytona I think you may have a different opinion of Ford and the whole Focus line - yeah, right!

may be they make it after all ( but just for prototype) i can't see why they used a focus.

i agree hooligan with you ( why not a mustang or gt40 ) even a escort)
