Daytona NASCAR

I am trying to do the DAytona NASCAR race and so ichecked a couple of setups for this race. they all said that ishould turn both ASM and ABS off but for some reason i cant. I even golded the whole NASCAR special event but still i cant turn it off. Why is this?

Its a restriction I believe, I think you could turn them off at one point but a patch stopped it I think. Other then that even with them on they arent that hard to do
