Well I am a huge fan of the Rolex Sports Car Series (My 2nd favourite motorsport championship). Sadly there is no Daytona Prototypes in GT5, However I found a way that we can get a bit of Daytona Prototype feel.

1: Get a car that resembles somewhat of todays DP, (strongly suggest Group C cars).
2:Put on full areo.
3: Drop the BHP to 500 bhp.
4:Add weight to 1010kg.

Have fun with your DP. Hope we get real DP soon.

It's a good idea, can be fun to race with those cars underpowered.
The only problem is that even if you have a fix weight and power, the cars will not perform the same.
You can have a fixed weight for example but you'll have to modulate the power for each one.
What you can do to be more fair is:
-set the same aero value for all the cars
-set the same weight
-go on a track you know perfectly
-take your favorite car as a reference ,makes some laps and save your ghost.
-Then take all the other cars (same aero value and weight) and set a HP value that allow all of them to run at the same pace of the first ghost, let's say for a 2 mn track in the same 0.200.

At this moment you will have a list of cars able to compete together.
The only things that any people can fix to tune their cars are
-ballast position
-downforce
-suspension settings
-gearbox
-LSD settings
-Tires

I think you can have a fair good fun challenge like this.

Just my 2 cents.

:)👍

This was not ment to be 100% perfect, just a little example.

EDIT: The actual DP cars is 500bhp and 1010kg. If we alter it they probaly won't be DP anymore but just some spec vehicle. Aero however can be changed amd equal.
