Well basically I need tips on braking. When ever i just touch my brake pedal (even a little) the car just spins. Its strange that its not that horrible in Time Trial, but in S events, car spins like crazy.

PS I brake with my right foot. Does it have anything to do with it ?

First, use ABS1.

Second, alot of cars want some throttle to keep the rear in line while braking and turning. So you wind up with throttle and brake at the same time, but just a little throttle to keep the rear tires loaded.

I was just running S events yesterday (again) and I was using the Ford GT at Daytona Road. This car is notorious for lift-off oversteer. I had to balance throttle, brake, and steering to get through turn 1 without spinning.

So I'm doomed for now, because I cant throttle and brake (my legs are not exactly healthy :D G25 for me is miracle, the first wheel that i can use with pedals ). Oh well there is my chance to exercise and learn new stuff :) .

In pc racing I counter it with settings, GT5p is basic at that aspect.

You can help it by cranking in max positive toe in the rear and by turning down the rear brake bias.

Also, stay away from MR cars like the Ford GT, F430, Lotus, that are prone to lift-off oversteer.

Thanks for some advice guys.

I always have similar problems there too. Especially with the cars mentioned.

I had to stay away from the cars I loved to drive with the standard settings like the 2 tuned Lotus' , GT and the MR Ferrari's.

Now maybe I can use my favorites in the S class races again and not just complete them with cars that I can drive safely. Thanks.

Set yourself up so you go into the first corner as straight as possible and be gentle on the brakes at first then put more pressure on it.

I highly recommend left foot braking.

Learn to brake with your left foot. It will improve your reaction time since you don't have to move your right foot over to the brake. If might feel weird at first but once you get the hang of it your braking should feel more in control.

I'm partly disabled (my legs). I can move them and all but my foot are not so strong (well they are stronger then before . Thanks g25!). And the problem is that the left one is the weaker, I try to brake with it once in a while.

Its funny how i couldn't last 30 min of driving, the first time i tried pedals on my new G25 (was using padle shifters as pedals on my older wheel). Now i can drive all day, thanks sim racing ! :D.

You do NOT need to lfb. It has it advantages yes. But I RFB and get along just fine. Practice practice and more practice is what you need. ;) Smooth is fast.. Slow in fast out!! Take a car like the NSX or 512 BB to DR TT and chase someone from the top 10. Once you can drive either of those cars at their limit, everything else will be easy. 👍

Edit,

When you brake coming down into turn 1, brake gently around half pedal travel, and add more if you need too, rather than just jumping on then brakes hard.
