Hi guys,

I always had some problems with AC in regards to how the wheel acts... and it's something that always bothered me with AC that it doesn't work out of the box...

I found some settings which I used for a while but then I noticed while searching a better setup something that wasn't so obvious to me before when I just played...

I can turn the wheel 45° in each direction (like oscillation) and the car will barely move and that even at mid speeds (150km/h)... doing that IRL would upset the car so quickly.

It feels like a deadzone or filtering.... but ingame movement is 1:1 in the setup section.

I mean you shouldn't be able to steer left right left right... with 45° on the flugplatz while the car barely moves and is not upset by it...

While driving "normaly" I can take high speed corners with a few degrees, but it bothers me that I am able to oscillate it and the car not behaving like it should

My Setup:
T500RS wheel with shifter (t8rs)
Fanatec CS v1

My settings:
Softlock enabled

If I am not clear enough with describing the problem I could make a video and upload it... but maybe it's obvious to someone...

In Dirt or PCars I don't have this problem, steering as crisp as it gets...

Thank you

Trying to match 1:1 the virtual steering wheel:

1.- Set 900º in your T500RS Thrustmaster profile
2.- Make a copy (backup) of your "controls.ini" file located at "My Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\"
3.- In Assetto Corsa untick "Lock virtual steering wheel" located at "Options\Video\View"
4.- In Assetto Corsa "start configuration wizard" located in "options\controls"
5.- At the step of turning your steering wheel 90 degrees to the right, once you press the button take note of the degrees number "wheel rotation lock-to-lock"
6.- Click "back\discard settings and quit wizard"
7.- Open up "controls.ini" located at "My Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\"
8.- Change the line "LOCK=whatevernumberyouhavethere" by "LOCK=1180"
9.- Change the line "SCALE=whatevernumberyouhavethere" by "SCALE=result of dividing your steering wheel rotation lock-to-lock by 1180"
10.- Save "controls.ini" file
11.- Fire up Assetto Corsa and cross your fingers

Example if this is not enough clear:

My configuration wizard says the G27 has 872º so I changed the previous scale I had "SCALE=1" by "SCALE=0.738983" (result of dividing 872/1180)

Hope it helps.
