dealerships?

Now, dont take this the wrong way, i love GT5 and all its abilities? but am i the only one that find the lack of ability to buy cars at will a little disconcerting? Along with the fact there are so few premium cars? for ex, the supra rz. Your telling me PD that you werent able to find ONE rz to get a picture of the interior? Cali has tons of them...and the fact that you claim to have so many cars, but make it a game of lottery to find and purchase half of them. is it too much to ask that all cars be accessible through the dealerships? i hate playing the waiting game looking for that one specific car, that is not in the dealership, and hasnt cycled through the other dealerships in what has been probably close to a months worth of game play?

All these updates have come out and some have been quite necessary, some have been quite surprising ( my favorite so far was the ability to play user created tracks with friends online) i know youve changed how many cars the online dealership carries, but any way you could throw some more cars into the regular dealership?

the only other problem i have with the game still is that when drifting, you cant play with the whole track and still make points, you have to be dedicated to the "optimum driving line" if you stray to far away you stop earning points. i dont know if anyone else finds this to be a bit annoying but there have been many times i should have had 2 times my score from drifting back and forth down straight aways but get nothing cause im not near the line.

all in all this has been the BEST GT ive played, keep up the great work guys. and cant wait to see whats in store for the future of this franchise.

I like the dealership system.
Think like this: When you are buiding a collection, the fun of it is to find every thing of that collection. Sometimes you have to wait that particullar thing to appear. You couldnt have all of the collection at the beggining, it isnt fun.
And this argument: "Oh, but i paid for the game and want to drive that car, why should i be waiting?" should be solved with arcade mode.
The feature of "having to find the car" in the dealership is great, its just awesome.

I don't mind the way you get cars in this game. I could understand if someone preferred a different way. But after expert A-Spec I've always had good car to have fun in.

ok well i may be over reacting about the ability to purchase cars at will, i do like your thought however about the arcade having full access. sometimes testing the car before having to buy it would be nice. am i the only one that find the drifting thing to be a little off? isnt the point of drifting to use the whole track and be graceful about the turns? sometimes the best "drifting" line isnt the best "driving" line. and it wouldnt take more than a couple lines of code to expand the points zone, they already did it for the angle of entry....

like i said, these are the only two things i can find that really bother me. i liked the way forza had their car market set up. didnt mean you had to be able to buy every car from the beginning, i do support the need to be a certain level before you can use it.

and if they already had a picture of a supra, why arent they all able to have interior view? idk, i just find it lame that they were able to do interior view for some of the more rare cars, but fail with some of the more common cars found traveling around town every day.

still love the game... a lot!

It's not because they can't find the supra to take a picture of it. Supras are in abundance in Japan. It's because they are standard cars. They don't just make the real picture look videogame-ish and put it in the car. hundred of hours are put into the graphics of each car. If they made every supra and miata and skyline have an interior, we would have to wait years longer for GT5's release.

Also, every time you start a race, 6 cars get replaced in the used car dealership. So, it holds 30 cars.....go into the License Tests and start the first 5 one at a time and then exit them. Go into the UCD again and every car will say "Just In". See what you like, purchase what you like, and then repeat. I have found some cool cars in there that I had never seen in the game before.

So why can't they use the same interior view? Generalize it. And copy/ paste it to the other models? Not like they were all that different in real life either.

And again thats not a big deal on my list. My main complaint is the drifting aspect. Would like to hear other peoples thoughts on how they feel about the strictness of staying close to the driving line.
