Dear Mr. Yamauchi - A question on multiple career paths through GT7.

Dear Mr. Yamauchi,

Through several iterations of the GT series many of us have enjoyed the Offline Career Mode and racing the huge variety of cars that the series provides. Many of us would like to see more options for career paths through the game including a full sim career or Pro Mode, Classic GT Career Mode, an Online Career Mode Mode, a Drift Career, Drag Racing Career and even a Sandbox where all cars are available at some point in the game for those that simply want to drive and enjoy the wide variety of cars you make available to us. These careers could even be separate and exclusive from each other, with separate garages, bank accounts etc.

Is there any consideration being given to implementing multiple career modes for GT7?

I would love a proper career mode like - how about a calendar which has multiple events happening throughout an imaginary season that the player can choose to participate in dependant on certain criteria. eg if you want to participate in a "Formula" race event you have to hold a certain licence. Initially you would only be able to drive as a guest in official practice sessions but not in full events. Once you have all licences you could pick and choose which races throughout a season you run in whether that's a combination of junior karting race, Formula series, WTCC type series or a Classic car race. A career would go on indefinitely up to a certain point (40 years?). As Johnny says you could have multiple career modes running concurrently.

@JohnScoonsBeard there are literally endless ways to approach this and with an Event Creator that's part of the Career Mode it could go on forever. Being able to bounce around between classes and series, having random offers coming in for races from different groups, like a Vintage Car Association, a Kart Club, a Gymkhana, LeMans etc. would really make things open ended and really feel like an actual career. It would need updating and maintenance of course, which would come with the regular updates but it would be something to look forward to, to see what you've been invited to and who wants you to drive for them!

The first thought in my mind is the Red Bull events.... And possibly a copy of that with the Senna content.
