i got my M3 CSL tuned out so its doing everything I want it to... but I was watching the replays and noticed something that may be something I should tweak out of it...

When taking high speed sweepers (like on the nordschleife, and turn 1 on high speed ring is a perfect example)
on corner entry the car will smoke the inside wheels... to me that seems counter productive, but i'm not really sure what that could be indicitive of... differential settings maybe?

any diagnosis?

both... its pretty strange...
the outside wheels won't throw any smoke unless its a full-on 4 wheel slide

You have the same opinion as me with the aids! i hate them too but i just wanted to clarify that they werent the problem. just one more question, is the car 4 wheel drive? if not please state which type.

EDIT: doh! i forgot you said it was an m3 forget that above!
It also means my idea below may not work. I cant understand why you are getting smoke from the front inside tire? hmmm... do you have any toe on the car?

My first idea would be to try lowering the accel setting on the LSD try it on something extreme like 10 and check if the tires still smoke, if it solves the problem raise it as far as possible without creating smoke.

nah, there's no toe going on.... and the camber is 2.8 / 1.2
tis kinda strange... wonder if the stabalizers are too soft (2/4), possibly causing the car to roll too much weight off the inside wheels in a high G turn... i guess that could cause a bit of smoke to pop up... i'll have to mess around with it again tonite when i get out of work.

the stabs could be the issue, u are correct, but do u have any weight biases and whats your downforce? the tires could lack grip if u got harder tires, and witht the lack of downforce the car is being pushed to one side and theres no downforce to keep ur car glued to the floor. it may just be that you are turning too fast and that the car cant handle it (POST UR SPEED btw).

seems that you are drifting the corners a little, lol.

but see if u can post all your tunings, like everything, then we can find the culprot. but for now, just try not to drive that fast 👍 :)

It's on corner entry... try braking just a little less?

hahahahaha

the problem was literally "fixed"
went to the bmw dealer and paid almost the price of a new car to have the chassis refresh done. oopse... my bad.
apparently thats a symptom of chassis flex.
