Decal loss bug still happening?

See this tweet (had to do it this way in a rush to get it out of my PS4). The decals are lost in the livery editor file but are still there in the current livery/style file.



I also have recently lost two liveries to the bug, even after I restarted the game and didn't visit the editor for the affected ones.

Happened to me as well, really annoying. But I didn't lose any liveries, as the cars had the liveries applied which meant I could just save them again.

Yeah they didn't really managed to fix it. You have to delete all save data on the PS whenever it happens, thought PD recommends to delete temporary data ingame, but that hasn't worked for me yet.

I’ve also found that if you scroll down through loads of decals in the editor they disappear on the car. The easiest solution is to scroll to the bottom one, then scroll up through every one by pressing up each time rather than holding it down.
Then they reappear.
Basically, don’t scroll down through them all quickly and they won’t disappear in the first place.
This is obviously a separate issue to the deleted at fix, but might be why some people appear to be losing decals
