DeLorean- buy used or new?

So... Typically I don't see a point in buying used cars when their new versions are easily available from brand central. The discount isn't enough and I don't know if I'll have to invest money earlier on new engine/body. Plus I can't track how far I personally drove them. In my mind, it's a poor decision to buy the used version.

Which brings me to my question... The DeLorean! I feel like I would feel dirty buying one with 0 miles on it but overall it seems like a better proposition. So that's my question, specifically for the DeLorean, buy crispy new with 0 miles or buy used and have it be more "correct" to the movie with miles on it?

It's already incorrect to the movie version by virtue of being a 2004 reproduction and having a 200hp whatever engine opposed to the original anemic PRV engine, so I wouldn't let mileage be a factor.

if you drive a used delorean enough to need a new engine and body then I think you are missing out on a large portion of the game

88mph + 1.21 gigawatts = go back into time when it was new. Profit.

I bought it used... I rather save money than care too much about the mileage since money is hard to come by

Used for me. By all accounts the real Delorean wasn't a ball of fire so I don't expect the GT7 version to be much more than a novelty.
