There is already a DeLorean in the game, but that is a stage 2, and not an original beauty, or premium for that matter

Engine and Output: PRV ZMJ-159 V6 putting out a super impressive 130HP
Dimensions:
Wheelbase: 95in
Length: 166in
Width: 73.1in
Height: 44.9in
Weight: 2712lbs
Why: Well I believe most of us should know this car, the one in the game is okay, but it isn't the same slow, painful beauty as the original. This would also give a possibility of a more realistic price and interior.

My Social Studies teacher last year has one. He has got to be one of the most interesting teachers I've ever seen.

Why don't we just have a premium stage 2? The original was painfully slow, even the euro spec only had 150 hp

The stage two is only a sports muffler in Gran Turismo, nothing more makes it special, if I wanted a new DeLorean I'd go with the DMC-EV over the stage 2 or 3, cause that's awd and has 250HP and 260ft-lb of torque

Yeah, pretty much everything but I believe the left fender is still original OEM too, but they have all the schematics to make new original parts, usually better than the original Irish made parts

Can you believe they are still selling these cars? They have still many left over brand new parts and can virtually build you a brand new De Lorean!! Go here for more info: http://delorean.com/

Yep. They also have five authorized dealerships in Florida, lllinois, California, Washington and The Netherlands along with the HQ right here in good ole Texas :D

Still better than Will.i.am's abomination of a DeLorean though.

...I gotta agree with you here. Not even gonna put the link, just the pic:

Y'know, I heard his 'abomination' was stolen. Good riddance.

Then you'll hate to know that it was found (by West Coast Customs, the shop that built it) and supposedly, rumor has it that it was a publicity stunt.

Fun fact: That car also barrows parts from a Dodge Challenger.

Did I also mention that it was actually built by West Coast Customs?

I believe the original DeLorean's engine shared the same essential design as the Alpine A310's and the Volvo 262C.
The PRV in the engine name stands for Peugot, Renault, Volvo, as it was shared by all the companys, orignally John had planned for a Rotary engine but that didn't end up panning out

Yeah that's what I was trying to remember lol. Saw it in an issue of "Classic & Sports Car" a while back. Shame the rotary thing didn't materialise, I may have actually been interested in the DeLorean if it had...

...I just heard that WWE's Great White Sheamus got himself a DeLorean.

Good going there, Sheamus. 👍👍

Didn't know a guy weighing 280 pounds (of pure Irish fightin' muscle!!) is actually a geek. Makes me want to support him even more.
