Racing the F1 2007 at Fuji this morning and about halfway through the wheel made some bad noises followed by more bad noises.

Turned it off and a quick check of turning the wheel indicates a rooted cog.. 2 1/2 months old is a little disappointing.

Spoke to Logitech who advised to take the wheel and proof of purchase back to the store and see if they will warranty it.... DAMN !!!

Sorry to hear that :ouch: hopefully you can get a new wheel soon.

It probably had nothing to do with it, but that's one of the reason's I don't really like running the F2007 in GT5P--even running on low FFB settings, it just feels like it is too violent on my wheel :nervous:

Totally.... !

* Update
I took the wheel to the store I bought it from an they have sent it away for a service ?!?!?

4-6 weeks they reckon. Im curious as to whether the gears are serviceable, I would have thought Logitech wouldnt bother making spares for them.. :(

Will place another call to Logitech on monday and see what they say... a little disappointed.

Well, try to drive F1 Championship Edition, and you´ll see some violence. When driving on bumpy Interlagos full speed, wheel wants to brake your arms.

I actually like the kick and buck of the wheel.. it adds to the realism, but not if its going to break my wheel :(

I rang logitech today to confirm with them on the shops course of action.
They were a little surprised as there is no service centre and this is not really the correct action. They gave me a case # and advised to speak to the store and pass on logitech case# and tell them the wheel should be replaced as its under warranty, not sent off for repairs....
Thumbs up to Logitech, thats some pretty nice customer service.

I had similar problem with logitech cordless action controller for PS2. Left stick was out of center, and they sent it twice to "service" which probably only cleaned it. After i got new one, it malfunctioned too, it went on and off by it self. Now i hawe 3rd controller and its fine. I am generally wery happy with logitech, i have many of their products. Say hello to Australia for me, i have some cousins there, in Apollo bay.
