DFGT or DFP?

So, I'm finally going to replace my Driving Force Pro, which died a valiant death back in March when someone plugged a Sega CD PSU into it when I was away from it. After some mourning, and some DIY work, and then some wishful thinking of replacing it with a G25, I've decided to get another wheel. My only question is, of the two, which one should I get?

Now I've heard that the DFGT is supposedly quieter and more exact, and also supports the PS3 better; but I'm also aware that they removed the 200 degree lock from the wheel. This is a problem for me, because I used my DFP just as much, if not more so, with my PC as I did my PS2. So I'm wondering if the lack of a hard lock messes with its capability as a PC controller, and also if the wheel is even as compatible with the PC as the DFP was.

Price isn't an issue, because I could get both of them for about $60, but PC functionality is very important to me, as is compatibility with PS2 games. Basically, what are your suggestions?

The DFGT no doubt, yes it is still fully compatable with PC, if you wanted to use 200 mode with PC you can change it in the logitech driver software as you wish (though no hardware lock).

So how does the wheel limit itself to 200 degrees of rotation on the PC? Can you get it to lock through some software adjustment?
