DFGT wheel troubleshooting :(

Hi

I just bought the Driving Force GT + GT5p set, still I cannot use the wheel (other buttons are fine) and the light of the horn central button is blinking. Is there anything I miss in the game settings ?

Make sure all the wires are properly connected or read the manual.

Yes and yes.

From the Main Menu " home" screen in GT5P scroll over to right to options icon, from there check the wheel settings.

Maybe try and turn of your DS3 or Sixaxis.....?

Its worth a shot.

Or turn on the game first and then plug it into the USB slot.

And double/triple check all three cords.

I had this happen several times with my DFGT, Try turning off your PS3 from the switch in the back, or unplug from power for 30 to 60 sec to completely reset the PS3. Also unplug and plug back in the DFGT to reset it. I had this issue several times after the dog/kids tripped over the short USB cord! It is most likely a bad connection between the USB plug and the PS3 (Try another USB port on the PS3). I ended up cutting off the USB connector and splicing in a new USB cord and adding about 2.5 additional feet. You may also want to try plugging in the DFGT (USB) first then power on the PS3.

Hello guys

Thank you for all your advises but I found the origin of this issue: I did impeach with both hands the wheel to cycle back and forth because its noise would wake up my 6 months old baby Thus the device wasn't calibrated I guess so the GT logo blinks on the horn button !

I just relaunch the game, let the wheel cycle and it works !

I tried to reproduce the problem by blocking the wheel again and I confirm this non-troubleshooting
