DFP Backward Compatability?

If this IS somewhere in the archives, I didn't find it, so apologies in advance if it is and my searches just weren't right on.

Does the DFP wheel work for GT2 as a backwards compatable device? I love GT2, but want the DFP for the sake of playing GT3 with it, but If I like it better, I'd want the same thing sfor GT2 (I liked GT2 better for the car choice).

Not sure about the DFP, know the MOMO Force does though. You can pick one up for less than $150 AUD these days... Not really expensive...
