DFP Dilema

As of late, my 5 year old DFP is working still, but the brake pedal is not fully releasing and is doing so irregularly. I also have a MOMO pc wheel, about 6 year old and the pedals are compatible.
My question is, why would the MOMO pedals be behaving in an identical manner.

IS my DFP dying a slow death an not the pedals.

Anyone had a similar problem or know what I need to do?

$ are little low at the moment and G25/ Fanatec are not in the picture yet.

Probably just a loose connection in your pedal sets. I've had it happen in two of mine, and fixed one of them after I found the guide I posted above. No problems since.

zed300, having same problem with pedals as you! Have had them apart three different times! Just a few days they started acting up again,so this time just smacked the bottom of the pedals. And guess what, they are work again!!!

Thanks guys, should have got back here sooner.I did manage to mend the pedals and they have been behaving since.👍
The slot the potentiometer sits in, has a little play and just wasn't returning to the"off" position. Scooped a bit of the grease that was lying around in there and packed the slot up and all is good. Same with the bushes the axles sit in.
They are getting on a bit, 4 1/2 years and have probably done 3 times the ks/hrs I expected.
