DFP not working with GT4

I just got my DFP, and I've just about got used to it so that my driving is almost as good as with a DS2, but now it's stopped working with GT4. It stopped when the USB cable came out of the PS2, I put it back in, it calibrated, the lights come on but it just doesn't work. If I go to settings, it works, but when I quit settings it stops working again. Similarly, it works with NFS Carbon, and a few other games, too, and I switch back to GT4 and it stops working again. Anyone know what's wrong?

I'm kinda embarrased about this now, but it's working again. It seems all I did was plug the USB into my PC, install the PC driver to play a different game, and plug it back into my PS2 again. Strange, since I'd already tried unpluggin the USB and plugging it back in again... Anyone know why?

I had a silly problem with usb. I thought it doesn't mater which port you plug it in(just like with pc ). Left one is for player 1 and right one for player 2.
So i was trying to play as player one with g25 in right port.
