Actually, I would say that it is still quite expensive. Anyways, I look at it this way: If you have a DF, don't bother with the DFP. If you have niether spring for the DFP.
I have a DFP myself, and having used the Driving Force, the DFP is vastly superior. The pedals have a more 'solid' feel, and so does the wheel itself. It's got so much grip that even under hard braking the pedals won't slide. I'm a regular driver in the WRS (top half of division 1) and even after 50 laps of full on hammering this baby just keeps gripping. The wheel never slips between your fingers either, and the paddle shifters are more 'solid' feeling too, plus the gear stick is included too.
All in all, the main difference is build quality, and precision, plus nearly double the force feedback, because at high speeds boy does this baby shake .

tell me one more thing: are pedals in DFP the same as in MOMO (coz I went to a local shop yesterday and they don't have DFP only DF and momo but I've read somewere that they are the same and have relativeli more travel than on the DF
