Hey all,

I'm new here, and i've just started using my DFP with GT4. I find the FF way to powerful when countersteering, could anyone give me some tips and their options, thanks.

There are several threads around about DFP settings and technique already, read these for starters:
"DFP Drift Settings"
"DFP, and GT4 Specific Drifting Tips"
"Drifting.. Steering options?"
"I Found The Secret To Dfp Drifting"
...and of course, don't forget to check the sticky

Hope reading through those will help you out ;)

As for my personal preferences...
I'd strongly suggest using Active Steering for drifting, at least while learning. Active steering makes the front end more forgiving and gets rid of that annyoing "notch" when you center or pass the center of the steering (does that make sense?).

I also prefer to have Power Assist turned off. This, it seems to me, makes the wheel motion a bit more predictable.

Another quick way to reduce the perceived strength of the feedback is by lowering your LSD initial setting, or by reducing the stiffness of the front stabilizer... though this will make the car less responsive or "snappy"
