DFP vs DFGT

Is there a big difference between the two other than the wheel size. I am looking to get a DFP because its a little cheaper and im just a casual GT player, and its the only game that I own/play. So what are your guys' opinions?

I read review that new GT wheel is lot more smoother over older DFP, as well its more like G25 force feedback. Also the cool KNOBS and HORN buttons (whnever we get HORN SOUNDS LOL) are really cool.

My opinion, save up bit more and go with DFGT

I agree save up for the DFGT, Check around you can find the DFGT on sale quite often. Logitech just had 10% off their wheels on their site, sometimes Fry's or Amazon has really good deals also. I was in Lufkin Texas two weeks ago and they had two DFGT wheels mismarked for 44.96 at Sam's club.

The DFP has a smaller wheel than the DFGT,this being the case smaller margin for precise adjustments. I own a DFP and have been happy with it from day 1 (4 1/2 years).I have had a go of a G25 just recently and found it to be very smooth,so the larger wheel gives more leverage and is the reason for better control.IMO.

last thursday i live in wisconsin. i bought all three and sold the other 2 on ebay for $90. So basically i got the wheel for free!
