Did they fix True Force in GT7 yet?

I’ve been out of sim racing for a while now. The last GT game I played with a wheel was GT6 on PS3.

I was looking to get back into it and build a new sim setup so I was researching the latest and greatest wheels on the market and came across Logitech’s new G Pro wheel which has this new True Force tech. Seemed like everyone was raving about it until 6 months ago it was unexpectedly turned way down in a game update leaving almost no road feel.

Whatever happened with this? Was it ever fixed?

Also, did they ever bring back shuffle racing?

To answer your question directly, no update has been made to FFB or True Force (TF) on the Logi wheels since everything was turned down.

That being said, I wouldn't let that dissuade you from the GPro as it's all relative. Meaning, the current TF is fine for me. And it's fine for others I know that have this wheel. It's just all based on now much of the TF you want. I did have to turn mine up (from 60 to 90 within the wheel if I recall) to get it back to how it was, but it's good to go for me.

Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is for you to try it out and see what settings you prefer. That being said, I love the TF and didn't know how much I missed it until it was turned down until I was able to figure out how to get it back to where it was for me.

If you never experienced the "old" trueforce you'll be fine, it still feels good to me with readjusted settings.

bigger issue for me is having to turn down the torque majorly when driving gr1 cars otherwise the wheel oscillates like crazy on high speed straights
