After lurking since October I just registered, because I cannot find my answer anywhere.

Is there a difference between sportmode bop and timetrial bop?

My favourite Sport mode track is Dragon Trail at Gr3. I race with the Porsche 911 RSR (991)'17.

I've been trying to shave off some qualy time by doing TimeTrial with BOP on. I race with TCS on 2 and tyres on race:hard. ASM is on, CSA is off, ABS is on default. However it seems I am much faster during the time trials as opposed to the sportmode. For instance I can floor it in the busstop, while I always have to lift in sport mode qualy. Or was I just lucky and can you floor it in Sportmode as well?

If there is a difference, can I find the correct settings somewhere so I can tune the car to reflect the correct bop settings from sportmode?

Edit: included a pic of the car settings:

When you're in a race that has fuel and tirewear (Daily C and FIA) the practice mode before the race is the same as time trials the game assumes 0 fuel and perfect tires.

However! When you're actually in the race the car is heavier and your tires will be less sticky as they wear. I think this is a big part of turn 1 crashes, drivers practice ahead of time and don't realize they can't brake as hard during the actual race.

Both in qualy as in timetrial there is no tirewear or fuel use. That can't be the difference. Thanks for the answer anyway!
