Different regions, different values/credits

I was browsing through Twitter posts with the #GTSport tag and had a slight shock at seeing Japanese posts with credit rewards and car values 100 times higher than in my game -- one of the Vision GT cars was 100,000,000 credits to buy, while it's only 1,000,000 for me to buy in the North American version.
I had never realized they took localization that far

I'd bet the difference is the real world currency exchange (dollar value to yen value ect.)

Yup, that's what I figured too -- Japanese Yen to USD is about 110:1.
