It actually looks quite nice even I am not too sure what the background is on the other side of the river. Good job

You've overused the leaf brushes, but it certainly is good for a first time.

I think the leaves and grass have too much detail vs. the bridge and the rocks being very diffuse. All this makes the image look a bit dark as well, maybe you could have a double layer of it and overexpose one of them, and then play around with the fill?

A bit of playing around with the RGB settings, as well as adding more diffent colours to it might add ma bit more realism to the pic. Good effort either way; I'm quick to criticise/advice, but I doubt I'd have the mindset to go and do it starting from zero.

Lastly, try making the moon less lighted (words fail me)... an outline of it would make it much more realistic.-

Nice work, the background on the other side of the bridge could use some work but I love the surreal look of it. I had a go at digital painting a few years back but I haven't got a tablet or anything so I had to use my mouse, I tried doing the last scene from Fight Club;

And here is a quick one I did a while back of a beach;

wow that tree looked almost real... lol

but eitherway i dont have a tablet myself though digital painting works wonders with 'em...
Damn Wacom sells 'em so expensively.. even a 4x6 is 100$, like you know how puny that is?

Personally i think my only flaws were the fact that the bridge is soft, the rocky mountain-side has poorly simulated textures, and the water being unrealistic.., not telling what's across the river is what i you to establish, it's out of focus..
Yes i do feel i overused the leaf brush a bit, but hey man, it's a mouse not a tablet..:)\

More CRITICISM PLEASE

Try applying a unsharp mask filter, it'll make the edges more defined and the colours seem to 'pop' more.
