Dirt 3 wheel question (ps3)

Hi,

I would like to buy dirt 3 but I have a question.
I read that on the ps3, wheels are limited to a maximum rotation of about 180-210 degrees .
As the fanatec wheels have the option on the wheel itself to change rotation from 90-900°, is it possible to use for example 540 or 900 degrees on the fanatec wheels? And if you can, its it still accurate?
