Hi,
usually I would direct this request to either Discord or Playstation support, and I already tried both to no avail.
Situation: I have linked my PSN and my Discord account to use the voicechat on console, which actually works fine when it does.
Problem: whenever I start my console, either from rest mode or after shutting it down, there is a chance (that lately has skyrocketed) that the link of the accounts has been removed on the PSN profile and when selecting the Discord App from the gamebase it asks me to link to an account to use it.
Strangely enough when checking on Discord on my PC the link is still there and it also correctly shows my current game.
What I tried was connecting on PS to Discord, then disconnecting PSN and Discord account again by removing it on PC (so there is a clean slate to begin with) and then connecting again.
I also tried connecting with a new (different) Discord Account to see if this does any better.
Discord Support tells me to contact Playstation (yes, it is there problem and I see that).
Playstation Support sucks totally and cant provide any help at all.
So here I am, has anyone here experienced something similar and found a permanent solution?
I could go on and relink the accounts whenever I want to play with my friends, but why would I need to accept this annoying situation when it worked well just a few monthes before.
