Discussion: New Photomode Tournament?

As I was talking about in a previous topic, I was thinking about another Photomode Tournament. Considering this time of year I have hardly anything on my hands, I wouldn't mind hosting the competition myself... unless anyone else would like to.
I'm just not sure if it would be the right time of year to begin something like this, as many people would occupied with many other things.

Anyway, the threads open for discussion, so I would like to hear other peoples thoughts on the idea. 👍

It's something like the Head2Head competition, but then between the members themself, like for example you vs. me. Then we have to bring up our best work possible to see who of the two of us gets most votes and win.

Yes, he hosted it and after the final round it simply ended.

Don't know about the time of year if it's better or worse than any other, I say go for it Jacoja! 👍 This always was the best of the competitions.

Well I haven't seen a few other well known photomode people around recently (such as 440Charger, Treefingers, GTchamp, etc). so I just thought it may had been the odd time of year .

I'll be off creating banners if the comp does get more thumbs up. In the time being, I’ll leave the thread open for further comments… We need a big interest in this! 👍

But yeah, nothing much happened after the voting had ended. Another one would be quite cool, especially if there was one for PMC and one for 2.0 rules again. 👍

Well, I did host a photomode tournament, and it went pretty well, its just that i found that i really didnt have the time to commit to it, and well after the first championship, i just kind of let it go. For that i should apologize, but i loooovvvee the idea of the tournament! So i say go for it Jacoja!

Somehow I won a round last time, but I think I'm better now.

Edit: MY PS version has weird blur tool, you can't select where the point of blur is on the picture, you have to guess. It's really hard to get good blur like that, so I think PMC might be better for me... Well, I could manage, I really don't like PMC rules (too strict) so I guess i'll stick with 2.0

Just keep in mind when you beat me you have a bluring advantage.

Just run the tournament, I'm sure many new members would be like to participate, and don't forget there are a few elite photomode experts still doing weekly competitions, they are still very competitive in my opinion

I liked the other Tourney even though I was knocked out first round, count me in for another one

If everyone is interested then we may as well begin ASAP. I'll create a thread this week where everyone (who would like to participate) can state which PMC rules they would like to follow, along with a theme idea.

I have an idea for a Photomode Tournament, but I want to keep it secret until, I think it is a good time to bring the idea up.

I agree, because I want to be in the 2.0 side, however I am too busy with 2 major updates at the moment.
