Already paying my Isp 4 Access
So I never used Displayport on my Gfxcards, always had enough HDMI or DVI.

Now I have a new 970, and it only has 1*MiniHDMI 1*DVI and a mirade of MiniDp

All my displays have no Dp ports.

After looking a bit on the internet there doesn't seem to be a big choice in adapters.
Most are limited at 1080p@??fps
Duallink adapters cost a forture,...

Are there some stuff I am overlooking?

I would like to use 3 ports in total...

Display port is pretty much HMDI, just without the audio transmission part
Companies can use display port all they like and not pay one cent for it, unlike HDMI where they have to pay a fee to use

The they not provide you with a DP to DVI connector in the box with the GPU?

No just a DVI to VGA

What I don't understand is the lack of cables and adapters?
If DP are capable of 4k, why is it so difficult and expensive to make DVI Duallink adapters.
HDMI is even worse, because of all the versions of it and the lack of information on adapters which version it has....

Guess I gonna get a HDMI adapter.... (3D screens needs Duallink as does my touch screen)

I think that because Display Port (especially mini) is still only used by a handful of manufacturers like HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and Apple it means that there are fewer choices out there even though its a cheaper royalty free standard as stated. Mini HDMI pretty much dominates the market in that size category.
