I just got my platinum trophy not long ago and I was wondering if PD still send you an E-mail about receiving the trophy

Also another question that might seem silly: when you add a turbo to a twin turbo car does it replace both turbos with a single low/medium/high turbo?

Thanks for your time

I don't think PD send you an email if you win platinum Trophy, you just get, well, a platinum Trophy and that's about it. Not sure where you heard that, but I'm sure that's not how it works.

I never got one, but I distinctly recall seeing discussion on these forums--of course that doesn't make it true. I seem to recall it a congratulatory message being sent to the email account used for PSN for EU users, but I could be misremembering that bit. I also recall the discussion appearing after I'd gotten platinum and factoring that as a possible reason for not getting the message.

@Thomas2012 regarding your second question; I think it stands to reason that the factory-equipped turbocharger(s) is/are replaced with the same number but with units designed to operate best in the specified range. Seeing how turbos operate in the game--the presence of a threshold but no lag or surge phenomena--it probably doesn't matter how many you have.

No, but my proof above does. 👍

 Yeah, and had I not been typing [and nodding off...it took me 12 minutes to get that little bit out] when you published your message I would have either seen it or beaten you to the punch. I never got one but I never took that to mean nobody did. ;)

Really? You just had to answer me like that?

I realize I was wrong ( I never claim to be right anyhow) and this is genuinely new to me, but you didn't to answer me that way.

I never caught that discussion so I didn't know there was such thing.

I have a Platinum on both my accounts and I never a received an email to either. You must be very special ;-)

So the correct answer would be, they may send you an email if they feel like it or your are special ;-)
