Hi there.

Having a blast with FC after the latest patch the game is really good now.

But I have huge troubles with completing the trophie races. Driving with all aids off I find it almost imposibel even at the beginner level.

Im not even sure is there a level in the trophie races ? because after completing a race there is a bonus saying trophie level or something similar.

Anyway I am curious did anyone manage to complete all the trophie races with all aids off. Its not because the AI cars are to fast, there are quite easy to catch upto, when there is no traffic stopping me. But the AI cars behavior with all the ramming, pushing, bumping breaking in front on the straight. It seems imposibel to stay on the track, and catch upto the lead cars when the aids are off.

I know I am not the greatest driver in the world, but this seems just a litle to dificult.

So is it just me that sucks, or are you guys having trouble with the AI when driving with all aids off too ?

I've not been too bothered with the offline game but whatever I've done offline has been 100% assist free, it's the way I like to play and as racing online is my main enjoyment that's how I lock my lobbies (In all racing games)

klondike, I also found some of the trophies to be above my skill level to do without level 1 assists. The first race, when you start last, was almost impossible (for me) to win without those. What I usually did was that I would take all assists off in the second and third races.

Trophy mode is fun because you get to race every car in the game (that's all I did in FC, didn't bother to do the challenges), but it's a bit strange. You have 1 very difficult race followed by two easy wins. It's a reversed learning curve.

btw, I'm not sure now (did it all about two months ago), but I think I used assists with the "normal" 550 and 575 and also the Daytona.

But I think the AI was changed with one of the patches, because I dont remeber it being this agresive when I first played it.

I dident play the game for a long time because I was waiting until the trophie patch, before I started again.

Anyway it is proberly a combination of two things I need to practice more, and the AI is to agresive. I gues it will only make me more prepared for online in open games, because the AI in this game behaves ecsactly like people drove in GT5 P. Drive you of track bumb into you, brake in the midle of the straight, and all those kinda tricks.

And you are right when starting near the front of the grid it is pretty easy to win. The biggest problem is the AI is so agresive so it is very hard to work my way up the field.

If I put aids on it become pretty easy, because then I can just Force my way through bumping and the like without losing control over the car.

All assists always off, and I also force them that way for everybody when I'm hosting online race.

I imagine that would make for a decent "filter" to make sure you end up racing against half-decent drivers. I turned the assists off before I drove anything in the game too. I think I only used the "racing line" feature to learn one or two tracks I hadn't driven before (mugello, vallelunga etc).

I find that the cars themselves are just so much fun to throw around, the traction/stability control would completely ruin it for me.

i turned all assist off, and i also find the game is difficult to beat.
but thats why it's called a challenge, isn't it?

All off for me as well, plus the option where it says to adjust the pressure of the pedals is very neat. Very impressed with this game so far, graphics aren't that bad when you compare to Forza 2, but I am pretty sure people compare to GT, lol. Oh well.....

I done all the trophie's with all aids off.

One day just for a test i done a 30min race's with all aids on then for the last 4 laps turned all aids off and found that i was 2-3 sec quicker with out the aids.
