I am waiting for better technology (which takes forever, in the middle of nowhere), otherwise I will get it when the next GT is released. Personally, I don't like cable because it has to be shared and DSL technology sucks rihgt now

Not yet, I'll probably get one either when GT4 comes out or I'll wait for PS3 to come out(I'll be a freshman in college by then, so hopefully it'll have an ethernet adapter built into the unit like XBox).

Say, LM, how's Linux working for you? I thought about getting it, but my parents wouldn't let me get it.

I got one. Currently using it to play Socom on-line. Have a group of friends that I play with. It's really cool.
I was a bit unimpressed with the price that is being charged for the adaptor though.

You can get a USB adapter for half the price, and it works perfectly. I bought one back when Tony Hawk 3 came out and have been online ever since.
Btw, Twisted Metal Black Online was temporarily extended, but I don't think they will supoort it much further than the early summer. At least it made it further than the Xbox Live!'s first game Revolt (which they pulled online support for in December.)

I use mine to play ATV Offrad Fury 2. Witch turned out to be a pretty fun game to play.

It may work fine for certain games, but I'm under the impression that a) not all USB adaptors will work b) not all USB adaptors will work with all games.

I'm an advocate of "do it right the first time and don't look back".

Perhaps, but I've played every non-sports online game for the PS2 that is available, and all have been great.
I'd have gotten the adapter but THPS3 came out a year before the official adapter, and I really wanted to go online with that. :)

I'd rather have a regular ethernet adapter than relying on USB1.1. Just because my internet connection is faster than USB1.1, and because I doubt there are too many firewire ethernet adapters...

Took mine about a month to get in my hands. From the time i last posted in here till now. Thats about how long it took for me. ;)

I've got a friend who got an adapter when he heard Twisted Metal Black online was coming out. He's got the adapter, no game, and no way to get online yet. :banghead:

I've got some weird friends.
