If so, could you please pull and push on the steering wheel. Mine seems to a have (or developed) some play, fore and aft. Be nice to know if your wheel does the same.

I have contacted Thrustmaster who want me to send the wheel and base back, but I now this is a long long process and if the play is part of ownership then so be it.

Thanks for your help.

Just stating the most basic stuff after years of owning a T300..

1. Remove the rim and see if there is play in the wheel base itself - if so, you paid a lot of money for that thing I would use the warranty to get it replaced. A few weeks seems like a long time but I had a knocking issue in my original T300. Thrustmaster sent me a new rim and wheel base that felt like it was worked through by a tech. Everything so smooth and works perfect to this day (years later). Better to have a solid unit than a questionable one that will slowly come apart on you.

2. If there is no play in the base, remount the rim and make sure to get the large plastic retaining nut (the big round one that holds the rim on) nice and snug. Do this by turning the wheel with one hand and turning the nut with another. The tighten down the set screw.

Very important, fix the "quik release thing" with that screw. This is important, i had the same problem, after some laps the rim get loose if you dont fix the screw.
FIX the screw, then you will be happy forever.

Grab the rim with one hand grab the quik-release with other hand. Now hold tight the quik-release and turn the rim or hold the rim and turn the quik-release, its up to you. After that use a screwdriver and fix the screw.
