As the subject says, do you have more than one color of the same car? Sometimes I find myself undecided on which color car I want to buy. It drives me nuts.

Just one: The Lexus GS 300 '91. I bought a used blue one about a month after the game came out, and tuned the heck out of it.
I purchased a real-life 1994 GS 300 later that year, so I decided to buy a used one again, but in the same color, and with almost the same number of miles as my real car. Unlike the real car, I haven't changed the oil on the "game" car yet, to reflect a more realistic power output.

I've never bought a second car of a model I already have for the sole purpose of getting it in a different color, but I have decided to keep extra prize cars. I've been going for 200 A-spec point races, and sometimes I get prize cars in a different color than when I won that same race the first time around, so I keep both.

Yes and I have way too many in that sense.
I've got a Supra RZ of every color (but I mysteriously lack a 6.2 model).
Same for Skyline's, I've probably got 2 or 3 or each Skyline model just to get all the colors I want.
It's rather sad if you ask me and more than anything else it shows where GT needs to concentrate efforts for the next game.
Forza nailed the paintshop idea and I'd like to see GT copy it. 👍

Wow. I'm glad I'm not the only one. There are a bunch of cars I would like to get in a different color, but haven't done it yet. Lately, I have been struggeling with the Viper GTS. I like all three colors, but settled on only one. At first it was the black/silver one. Then I sold it for a red/silver one. Now, I would like to get a silver/blue one. I had all the colors of the Ford F-150 Lightning, but got rid of them all except the black one. I know it sounds stupid, but I just feel more... "attached" to only one car than the same car with multiple colors. However, it drives me nuts when I am so indecisive about the color. I may just get multiple vehicles with a different color and be done with it. lol I'm not sure how Forza handles car colors, but I would love to be able to repaint cars in GT4. I have been wanting that feature since I first played GT2. The indecisiveness hasn't stopped since.

Forza actually does a pretty good job with paint shop. You get a selection of maybe 64 colors (not sure).
The only problem I've found is that there are many cars in the game you can't paint or remove decals from.
If I was you, I'd go ahead and buy multiple colors of cars you really like and for everything else just play with arcade mode for a minute or two and select the color you want there (good for a quick fix if you want to see an odd color you wouldn't normally buy).
Like I said, forza does an alright job but it's not perfect (still better than GT's take on the situation) (just too bad forza isn't as good overall).

I currently own all the production models of the dodge viper in all the available colour schemes, seeing as they don't provide the iconic blue with white stripes, which meant I couldn't decide on just one.

I'm exactly the same way! When I first got GT2, I was so disappointed to not see the blue/white Viper GTS there. Ever since then, I haven't been able to decide on which color Viper I wanted.
Well guys, I think I'm in trouble. Ever since starting this thread and finding out I am not alone I have gone on a bit of a shopping spree. I have spent well over $2,000,000 buying Vipers, Corvettes, Rams, Lightnings, Mustangs, GTs, Camaros, and various muscle cars in all sorts of colors. I need help! I finally told myself enough is enough. We'll see how long that lasts!

The XJ220 is one of my favorite cars. I was going to get more than one color, but at over $700,000 a pop, I just decided on one. I really like that dark red color. I used to have a black one with black rims. Looked sweet. Reminded me of that car in the movie Wraith.
You can get the Ford GT in the Extreme Hall at the Premium Sports Lounge. I had an all red one, but sold it as I never used it. I don't like the GTs that are all one color very much. I like the striped ones much better.

I can't remember where I got the full black GT, I am sure it is the same place as Syxx_Killer is talking about. I like the look of it, especially in black. Looks very menacing.
