Do you hope or think Assetto Corsa Competizione is coming to Xbox

The ultimate edition is on sale for Xbox. But I also want to Wei at till e3 and hope Xbox gets a release date.

I have heard assetto corsa is better then project cars 2 in every way and is the true go to sim racer. And can even be enjoyed with a controller. Where as project cars 2 can’t. Forza 7 can be but it’s not supper sim.

I love the cars in forza and project cars 2 the most. But assetto corsa Porsche and Ferrari packs are maybe worth getting assetto corsa. But it’s a shame it doesn’t get mods like the pc does.

There's always a chance it will come to consoles. It will depend on sales and how demanding the game is, hardware wise. If Kunos cannot deliver something of a, at least, comparable quality to PC, with regards to gameplay, they'll wait until it becomes possible to deliver that experience on console.

For now, the only thing guaranteed is a PC release. Consoles are 'if' down the line.

Couldn't care less either way...

:indiff:

AC and PC2 are both cheeses. One's a blue cheese, the other is a nice cheddar..! But both are cheese.

I have both. Both games have strong points and weak points. Both games are capable of being enjoyed. Until you specify what criteria you have for 'better', it's a toss-up.

Wheel feel and FFB your criteria? Probably AC is better
Track selection your criteria? Probably PC2.
Graphics, weather and time of day/night progression yours? PC2, handily (if waiting for ACC to make it to consoles, remember PC2 already has those)
Car selection? Toss-up, depending on your tastes. AC better road car selection, PC2 better race car.
AI? Probably a toss-up.
Online? Both have serious issues, IMO.
Handling? Pretty close, since the last couple of PC2 patches.
4K? PC2.

I like both games. However, with a 4K TV, I tend to play PC2 much more.

Is ACC coming to XB1? Given how poorly PC2 runs on a barebones XB1 (far more issues than XB1X or PS4 base and Pro), TBH I wouldn't hope it does..! But given how decent PC2 runs on a PS4Pro, if they bring it to XB1, I'd look into a XB1S. Mind you, for that kind of cash, you aren't far off a PC to run ACC...

To answer the thread title question: I think it will come to XBox (and PS4) although i wish it would not because i want the devs to throw everything they have at this game and make it as demandable as it needs to be in order for them to achieve a new standard of graphical fidelity as well as physics model wise. And i fear that if they keep current gen consoles in mind with their weak CPU that this could harm the game.
Alternatively: I think they want to wait and see what the final product will turn out to be and then decide whether or not the compromises for bringing it to current gen are worth it or if they just wait one to two more years and release then on the next gen consoles a gold edition version of the game.
Or maybe it will stay a PC only title and then some Assetto Corsa 2 with the knowledge from the Blancpain game will come to next gen consoles in 2020 or so

I think its just a question of one matter. Will the finished product run sufficiently on console at 60FPS? If yes then I'd say it for sure will be on both consoles. Seeing as they are developing it with those in mind. If no then the next question will be will it run sufficiently on next gen.

Well... The new moto GP 2018 game has changed also to the unreal engine 4.0 and is running 60Fps on consoles ..
The unreal engine is more commercial also than the own engine kunos made for AC..
So I expect that they will announce consoles version of ACC once the game is done and ends the early access stage .

Now they have also the money support from digital Bros and they have more experience in the console industry ..

So I'm quite positive to see ACC on console In a near future.

By the way... Anyone know what is going on with GTR3?? It was announced, to come also on consoles and also using the unreal engine 4.0..
But they seems to have disappeared .

Good point, i almost forgot about that game. Early screenshots from Spa basically looked like ACC looks now lol

It's alive and being worked on... as of last Friday.
But, if I were Mr. Simbin I would hold back until next year for any kind of adjusted release date until it is seen what ACC brings to the table.

MotoGP is surely less taxing though. Simple physics, simple AI physics.

They need to get this game out on current gen consoles quickly, so they can rake in a pile of cash, stamp "done" on Competizione and get to making AC2. Why twittle your thumbs for two years waiting for next gen consoles, just to release what is essentially a heavy demo? Refine Competizione on current gen, then for PS4 at least, have AC2 ready to fill the vacuum left by the almost certain absence of any GT title within a year of next-gen launch. I'm sure MS will have a Forza title ready for their next gen console launch.

As others have mentioned, if you like AC and want to see good things happen with it, then you want them to sell millions of copies. I think it can happen.

I like forza 7 the best. Then it’s oroject cars then assetto corsa for the Ferrari pack. I have all 3. But okay forza the most. Also project cars 2 fir rally stuff is very cool. Assetto corsa is my lest played.
