Actually, I think that is a real exhaust-pipe and real light-covers. Everyone is just so digusted with that...that thing, that we are looking at everything else as trash.
I still think its ugly, even w/out that hideous piece of plywood (and it IS wood) on the back.

It's hideous, but obviously a joke, all of it. There's not a chance in hell that anyone would put real mods on there and then drive it around with THAT on. I've also seen other pics of that car (and others like it) and I assure you IT'S A JOKE!
I love the chrome, I mean tin-foil wheels. And the saran-wrap blue window tint!

oh, man, i looked closer.
the workmanship on the whole crap, the wheels are horrible, what are those, some designer wheel clamp things? and that stupid wood spoiler, poorly finished and in need of wide grit sanding, would fall apart at the speeds and conditions it would be useful for, even at half the size. it'd break loose at a rally corner and fly of at a seedway. finally, that car hasn't enough wheel base to handle the power needed for land speed runnin, which may justify a wing of that size. the person behind this car has violated the laws of Automobile Good Taste. the car gods must punish such a !#@$@ idiot.

Actually, I'll give this guy credit. In his own way, he's made his point. The fact that some people think this car was not just put together as a joke proves that horrendous taste affects a huge number of people. 
Or maybe I'm just over-analyzing things...wouldn't be the first time.
