do you think they can dumb down wheel setup with a patch later maybe?

So it will be kinda plug and play? Not perfect, but have a base usable settings like gran turismo? Or is it impossible with all the different wheels?

Well, I dont know what wheel you have but I plugged in my T300, set FFB to 100 and its glorious.

Whats the problem you have with yours?

I can't put more than 30 in FFB on my GTE version as too much! Maybe we have different profile set ups in the Control panel?

It doesn't need to be dumbed down. You don't need to touch all the advanced settings at all, unless you know what you're doing. The only values you should adjust in the beginning are:

FFB strength (easy one: set to 100);
Tyre Force (75-ish for LT wheels or maybe even lower, keep at 100 for others);
Deadzone Removal Range (depends on FFB deadzone per wheel);
Master Level on the individual car (even optional IMO, but this value is usually fairly low so should be raised).

Those should be enough to have FFB that gives all the detail and doesn't clip. Don't touch all the other settings unless you know exactly what they mean and do, or feel comfortable with experimenting.

They just need to release a guide for all the settings. They should have given a brief explanation of each setting in game.

I'm on PC, 30 is about as high as I can go! Not complaining, feels very good.

Well technically there is, but obviously it's not enough. :lol: But rest assured, the good folks at WMD have picked up on this. 👍

The thing with Tyre Force is that for certain wheels (e.g. on my G27) at higher levels the forces that the wheel produces when steering drown out the little details, hence the need to tone it down. It feels counter-intuitive to lower the number, but it actually makes it feel a lot better. 👍

Only other tip I have is to turn up the tire force (gives more road feel) in the controller setup and master scale in the FFB tab of the car setup.

pls list actual cars where the driver has to adjust and tune force feedback of their steering wheel :rolleyes:
Please list actual cars that change into other cars whilst using the same steering wheel?
