Do you think we'll get a new DLC for Christmas?

When did they mention a Ferrari 250 GTO?

There was an interview in this site's new feed about a year back when he was talking about cars they did not have time to finish before the game was released. Therein he mentioned the VW Scirocco, Le Manz Jag and Ferrari 250 GTO.

Since we've had two already, it would be odd not to have the third.

I think I've read somewhere about the MKIV (JZA80) Supra being one car that couldn't be finished in time too...

If we get any (not that I think we will), I want to have the feeling I must buy it, like I can't live without, something I'll definitely use every day. I think I've used Spa and Twin Ring once each. It must be something better than that. Just dreaming:

Gran Turismo 15th Anniversary Pack
with all (or at least 90%) of the cars and tracks we haven't seen since GT2 or for any reason didn't make it to GT5 (Midfield, Route 11, Red Rock Valley, Saleen Widebody, Vector M12, the GT2 JGTC cars, GT3 F1s just to name a few)

I'd pay just about everything to have all those treats in one game 👍

You really don't use Spa at all? I find it a great track in any race car, although it's probably not technical enough for road cars.

Unfortunately I think your 15th anniversary pack is a bit too ambitious, but I'd love to see it too, especially the tracks. Maybe instead of the cars they'll give the Escudo Pikes Peak a GT2 handling upgrade and a GT3 power upgrade... :D

Now I don't know if I should say this as I don't want to disappoint, but there will be something for Christmas, although not what you might think...

Of course we will get something from PD for the Holidays, and it will be huge!

...a huge "thank you" to all us fans for our continued support over the past year.

:sly:

Well, most of the players will hope for a car, since it's a car game. BUt, since you said that, what else could we expect?

A Christmas tree? A Santa themed racing suit? (I'd love that!).
Well, regardless of what you got in store for us Mr. Spartan, we thank you. :sly:👍

I'm so hugry for content right now that I'll take anything. :dopey:

A hotdog van, taco-stand RM, a doll house for B-spec Bobs... anything. :dopey:

Thanks in advance! 👍

Dying for you? Not for me, so it does matter.

+100 Agreed.

Now about that Ferrari 250 GTO everyone was talking about. I never knew about that being in GT5, and since we have both the VW Scirocco R and that Jag race car, will the Ferrari come in GT5 for christmas? O.O

They should re-release the old GT games on the PSStore. I would buy all of them.

I don't see it happening, unfortunately. They would have to get the licenses for the cars all over again.

Not to mention the music and other brand names...
Shame that everything runs on money, I'd love to play those classic games on my PSP.

Well since Spartan said it's not what we would expect that instantly rules out a title update or new car/track DLC as that would all be expected.

Do you have a link?

I would like to believe some Christmas DLC is coming, but I am not sure it will.

EDIT - Just read Spartan's post, so make that a definite no.

Off topic but why do you guys rule out 3.0 out?? When the XL edition came out we got a update. Even when the academy edition came out we got a update. I think some of you guys need to wait before you jump to conclusions here. Not alot is known about the Asia one so really I didn't see any possibility that a new edition of GT5 releases without a update.

Because the Asian version still has 2.0 on it. Why would they release ANOTHER version of GT5 in Asia and then add a major update to the game? Common sense would be to release spec 3.0 and then release a new disc with that on it.

I'm 99.9% sure we'll get something for Christmas (besides Christmas music playing non-stop on the main menu :P).

I'd be willing to wager ;)

(*any takers?* *any takers?*) :D

I hope something is coming.
Still got a PSN card sitting here so I hope they will come up with something special. (Maybe the Veloster and Genesis they were sourcing when they were spotted?)

Dare I say, Silverstone or Bathurst ? Too early ? Maybe old original tracks from previous GT ? or weather change options for some more real world tracks ?

We will not get some kind of DLC for Christmas.

And if we would, I would like it to be one or more of the old tracks. We have enough cars.
