Do you think we'll get a new DLC for Christmas?

Seems unlikely we will get any DLC now as we would have add an update by now for any new content. We might get something that's already in the game but not unlocked for everyone e.g redbull 5g. Only other thing I can think of is we may get a special seasonal event or something this Thursday - speaking of seasonals i get a feeling they might take a lot of the older ones down, like they did last year, as there are a lot of events in there now.

Last year around Christmas we got Car Pack 2 (GTR, MINI, Golf VI and Scirocco) and then in mid-January Car Pack 3 (Vantage and Aventador) and Speed Test Pack). Two years ago as I know there were also some gifts. In January we may receive the new Corvette C7. Last car pack was in Semptember and track pack in June. So maybe before Christmas we'll get another Car or Track Pack. Certainly there won't be 3.0 Spec update (GT edition 2013 is annouced for Asia containing only 2.0 Spec).

So what are your opinions and predictions?

i hope the put the ariel atom or the ktm roadster in!! THAT WOULD BE ****ING EPIC!!

Mom's in town for Xmas and she wants the whole family sleeping under the same roof Thursday night so we will all be together on Friday "in case something happens."

It's annoying. But I just reminded her that it's bad luck to be superstitious. :dopey:

We'll probably get another Christmas card from Kaz and PD like last year. If DLC was due it would have been announced by now. Logical really.

Well, unless something comes by way of the PS Store this week, it would have to come through a game update itself as this should be the last PS Store update of the year due to holidays. ...and since nothing has been announced, I doubt anything drops on the store today.

The PSN Store will be updated again on the 24th December and again on the 31st December. The Store has a holiday sale going on.

Still a little time left to slip something in. We didn't get a long notice for the Corvette C7 Prototype.

As far as I know last year there weren't any store updates between Christmas and New Year's Day.

They may have already slipped something in without us knowing (said the actress to the bishop :lol:) and all they have to do is tick a box for us all to get it.

Doesn't matter though. 1 day to go :sly:.

Got two Christmas liveried cars from FM4 but so far nothing from GT5. Two days left so no, I don't see GT5 getting anything for Christmas. Can't say I was expecting anything anyway.

Slightly off topic.. But how do you acquire these special livery cars?
 
One thing is obvious to me, we will never get a decent car pack (consisting of 6-10 cars) or tracks pack.
Christmas and the anniversary were the best opportunities to do this. For example they could have incorporated several tracks from the previous games (GT2, GT4 or SR11 from GT1) along with famous cars upgraded to premium (like Supra, GTO and etc). It would be a great celebration, but they haven't taken advantage of it.

Only what we can hope for is getting the new Corvette or another GTR and other craps.
 
We may get a free car on new years day but it won't be anything special I don't feel. I think they're consumed in the development of GT6 and that's fine by me. :)
 
Well, this question has now been answered as it is Christmas now and nothing new has been given out by PD. Not losing any sleep over it, but it is just as I expected.
