Ok this tune is for the ram, its the general best tune for it that me and THEGREATONE228 have created and refined, The Truck WILL DO 6.26 with skid force, with out it it still will be in the 6:30s at 546pp, witch is VERY FAST for any car at this pp, let alone a truck.
Ok here it is
---------------------------------------
Fully mod it out
Transmission- reset it, drag top speed to 180 and drag the final gear out to 2.000
LSD- front and rear set form top 40/40/5. and a 50/50 torque split.
Suspension
Ride Height
-40/-40
Spring Rate
11.0/11.0
Dampers(extension)
3/3
Dampers(Compression)
3/3
Anti Roll Bars
7/7
Camber Angle
1.7/1.5
Toe Angle
0.00/0.00
Brakes Are Set At 10/10

And here is a video of a older version of the tune in action drivin by THEGREATONE228

Real grip? low grip. Ever try - toe? most of my AWD cars I run -0.06 front and rear to -0.12. For me (controller) I get better turn in and exit.

We tuned ours with wheels, he uses a driving force and me a g27, THEGREATONE228 tunes LMPs and we both agreed that toe is not really needed, he noticed a grip increase without Toe, so it seemed to work so far.
but i really can't be the judge on controller tune though. lol

I was under the impression thegreatone has a wheel, but in fact is much faster on the DS3, hence he hardly uses the wheel.

actually he races with his wheel more often, the only time he uses the ds3 is when hes being lazy in bed

Maybe you should see how good your tune does with SRS off and real grip and tire wear on. I bet the tires will be burnt off in half a lap.

with this tune on tire wear driving as hard as u can, the front tires would be worn out if their RS tires about 4 turns after the kaursel.

Tuning a car, truck with aids on,is like driving a bike with training wheels, great for a beginner.

umm ok? this truck was tuned too work with or without aids. i wouldn't consider abs an aid because its standard equipment in an majority of cars/trucks in this game, and if you turn off skid force, and DON'T Drive like Clarkson, actually perverse the life of your tires, u can race this truck on RS for 2 laps while staying competitive. with that said, i believe if your in a lobby that as these aids to you, SKid force and ABS or the only aids that help you go faster, use them. they came with the game, the host is allowing them, and EVERYONE else has the opition to use them, this tune can be used anywhere, its up the driver to make it happen, aids or not.

Have you ever tried a 35/65 or 30/70 torque split?
I don't really like 50/50, because it understeers a little too much.

One question: Did you originally tune it with or without srf?

I tuned it without out SF, Greatone did, i just went with his skidforce tune because it was more stable without it anyways. i use the 50-50 because the idea of the tune in greatones words "always keep your foot/finger on the gas at all times, because the truck will under-steer hard, but the reduced min weight of the truck of plus 1800K, its real hard not to under steer, the main purpose of the 50 50 for us it so that we can rocket ahead ot the start, and use our wheels to actively change the diff split mid race if needed, its more difficult for me due to the g27 not being a real choice for it, bet it gets the job done lol.

Aids? I use abs 1 that's it.Almost all of the tuners on hear use nothing but abs 1 and no driving assists. Most lobbies or lounges I play in allow only abs 1.

Just a FYI, Aids slow you down, SRF Speeds you up, so is it a aid?

Your kidding right? Yeah nitrous speeds you up to,maybe we should have that button in the game as well.Take that truck put it on Nurb with no assists and whatever tire compound you want and watch the tires melt off.Assists are like arcade and really are for beginners.Look at the thousands of tunes on here and almost none of the tuners use assists.

I have bud, at 525pp and down, we (greatone and i) both turn our brakes down to avoid tire wear, and besides we DON'T use tire wear due is major unrealistic settings, i agree that soft slicks on a 4000lb, 744bhp truck at 130mph would wear the tires bad, but small increments of under-steer over 8 miles wear the tires down so hardcore? yeah right. anyways 2 things, 1. this tune was ORIGINALLY Created WITHOUT SRF, we decide to use it when it was available, 2. don't get mad because the truck using "training wheels" can out run AND out courner you AND when u hardcore guys run with ALL aids off, the truck STILL wins not because of SRF, but because who is driving this beast.

Maybe you should grab a dictionary and look up the word aid.

AID in GT5 USUALLY means to assist your driving by LIMITING the cars potential, for some people these aids like TC, ASM, Ect limit the cars performance and means that the same car would be slower compared to the aided one, of course driver skill dictates that. In the case of Skid Recovery, it is a AID of the GAME, their is no car in RL that as this, so when i say aids slow you down, in GT5 i am referring to the aids ingame that exist in RL, Skid Recovery is along the lines of an ingame performance booster then an aid.

aid
verb (used with object)
1.
to provide support for or relief to; help: to aid the homeless victims of the fire.
2.
to promote the progress or accomplishment of; facilitate.
3.
to give help or assistance.

If it boosts your performance by helping you control the car's slip better, it's an aid. Most here drive with only ABS. Just pointing this out.

Turning your brakes down has nothing to do with tire wear, that is called throttle and brake control. You know the little buttons you push or pedals you control with your feet.SRF which is an aid and no tire wear which is also an aid lets you drive the truck/car unrealistically as there is no penalty for driving out of control or how much you want to skid. You don't use tire wear because you cannot tune your truck/car not to consume tire's unrealistically.Lets see I used to run 30 laps at Daytona on racing soft's before they changed the tire wear,I changed my tune and now only do 13. If your tune was created without SRF why did you post a video with SRF on?Bring your truck to the ring and we will run a race without aids and I will see you at the finish line.If you want to learn how to drive without aids here is a beginner car for you and the tune to help you out.It will do 5 laps at the ring on soft's with ABS 1 only.

Here is a great car for people just starting the game.Very stable lots of grip and great tire wear.

You really want to go their? fine ok you want a 1v1? lets go, PSN backpain1, no aids BUT ABS, as you said mostly everyone uses THAT. 1 lap, nurburgring? tire wear at 546, 550pp? IDK, BTW the video is GREATONE228s video, not mine, i just posted it as reference. i am getting on psn in 10 min, so ill be waiting.

So... we agree then, the tune is garbage?
Shreds front tires and barely breaks the 7 minute mark.
Glad we got that all squared away.

i'm pretty sure that the driver shredded the tires mostly. anyway i understand what your point was, to supply people with a truck to go into online races and beat guys running regular cars, to piss them off. good job on that.

good job beating the guy trash talking you, you deserve credit for that.

other then that i hate when people join rooms with this pig.. it launches amazing so it always gets the holeshot, and its a wide load to trying to pass, and it usually beats you on the straight because of all the power it has to make up for the weight.

i usually just shove myself on the inside of it and hope for the worst on the other guys end. stupid ****
