Well this is what I've found my realistic to the vipers record lap time at the nurburgring. The viper ran 7:22 in real life but as you may know the finish line in a real life time trial is actually just after the very last turn. I've figured it out that the lap times in the game should be about 4 seconds longer than in real life so you should be running 7:26.
NOw as im sure many of you have noticed the viper has terrible understeer. Well forget about all other tuning option keep everything stock the only simple thing you should do is put sport medium tires up front and sport hard tires in the rear. Boom stock lap times.
On another note i have serious issues with this game. You cannot do anywhere near real life tunning to this car. The 2010 viper acr has completely different aero kit and different transmission gears. Even with the "fully customissable" transmission you cannt get anywhere close to the new numbers. And why can you not adjust the front aero kit on this car, and it seems nothing you do with the suspension helps the car in anyway what so ever with understeer. ( glad i found the tire trick )
Its very obvious the makers of this game had no interest at all in making this car run at its real life potential. Guess they must be mad that the viper beat the GTR on the nurburgring.
Anyways I hope you guys find the understeer cure helpful I know I did. My other hint would be just drive this car relaxed you will be much happier with it, you dont have to push hard to get this car to make its stock time and you will find you stay on the track far far more.
