I have the car listed above. I have been realizing that the same phenomenon in gt3 occurs in gt5.
If you buy a car, change the oil immediately, then race about 10 miles. Then do all the mods at once, and then once again change the oil, your car will gain HP the more you race as long as you change oil every 50 miles or so.
I started off at 1013 hp when I upgraded everything. Then after racing 250 miles I am now at 1031hp!
keep in mind this car is only 100k to purchase and around 250k to fully modify. There is no race modification but its pretty close to being a race car.
In one race at the Daytona speedway (38.546 fastest lap time without drafting) after doing 30 laps my hp went up by 9, and trq went up 2ftlbs.
The best speed to set your transmission for daytona is 261. U can remain in 6th the entire time and never ever let go of the accelerator pedal. I end up coming out of ever turn at 224mph and hitting 240mph prior to entering turns.
Now if you are racing (aka drafting others that are as fast as you are) set the transmission to 267 or 272...otherwise U cannot come out of the turns at 224...it will come out around 220/221. It actually hits fuel cut at 251 when set to 261 so drafting is kind of weird.
Setting the tranny to this speed also keeps the car in the proper power band.
toe = 0 all around, camber = 1.2 front, .8 rear, lowered to -20 out of 25 front and back. Dampers all set at 6 and roll bars 2 up front and 3 in the rear.
Spring rates = 13.5kg up front and 13.0 in the rear
Aerodynamics = 10 up front (cannot change this anyways) and 28 in the rear (out of 35)
The car weights 1247kg, and has 1031 hp for now (LOL) I presume i might hit 1040 within another 100miles or maybe 1050.
I hope this helps for anyone using this car! These settings work great for most tracks. Highspeed ring, Daytona, Grand Valley (up the rear spoiler to 30 or 32) and the "ring"
This is a very stable setup I must say and I hope that people can see the potential this car has! It's a little heavy but gdamn does it go!
I can do a 57 second lap at the highspeed ring and the nur "ring" I am still perfecting it LOL
in good regards,
Regis
P.S. Sorry for this super long post on my first thread haha
