I recently bought a Viper ACR and I have bought all the highest upgrades possible. I was wondering what I should set my gears at (individual gear times) I am looking for something thats got a top speed of 200 at least, but still really quick off the line Suggestions?

What track and how many laps?

For a car like this I would suggest lengthening your 1st gear all the way out until you get less/no wheelspin off the line, then gradually close them up once you are up to speed.

Haven't done the gearing on my ACR yet, however I did have the max speed set at 460km/h against all other cars no matter what the track was. 1st will have to be lengthened out a bit compared to what it was on the autosets.

This is honestly the most dissapointing car in the whole entire game!I've tried various tunes and it has the worst understeer ever :(

My ACR steers just fine... but then again, I didn't go ballistic in the tuning shop, buying everything in the parts catalog.

As far as the original question, what others have said is your best bet. Yet, I wonder why you can't just test it out yourself? Transmission and brake balance tuning are the two easiest in the game. ;)

Even on default settings it will destroy the American championship opposition at Indy and with it's 1000hp, even if they are in your slipstream, your speed will pull you away and kill off the slipstream. If you're not so sure, on the straights, stay on the inside and watch the lead increase each lap whereas it will take you the full 5 laps to leave them if you stay on the outside line.

I found once I played with the toe and camber settings it was quite good through the corners on Laguna Seca, but you really need to use the throttle.

I also managed to run a 1:11:xxx on Sport softs at the TGTT with this car, it can be insanely fun when you get it right.

I have been having the same problem with this car.

I bought it for the American championship and it has more HP than the other cars, but the suspension setting are impossible to setup correctly. There is so much understeer with this car, in motor aspect im doing good, but when the curbs come i have to slow down to much so i dont slam the wall, and right there the car start passing me.

Mate before you do any thing, if you cant handle it these are your main issues.

1. Dont go for CH tires, you'll eat **** if you cant handle 1000hp, try CS or SH, you'll find less sliding but still able to smash it round corners.

2. Lower the power back to about 700hp and work your way up, I never did this I like the challenge of the ACR sideways, It may help you.

3. **** the camber right off, it fights to keep it strait round corners.

4. You really need to 'tap' the throttle with this car, and dont rely on the e-brake to get you sideways It's unnecesery with 1000hp.

5. Put the gears max speed to about 350ish, you'll then find you slay 3rd around most corners and 4 for longer ones, use 1st and 2nd just for sick powerskids.

Hopefully this might help you out, if you have anymore questions about the ACR just ask mate.
