Does anyone use the Shifter holder for Playseats (Classic)?

I've got an older Playseat (the blue/black one that came out around the same time as GT4 was released). Anyhow, I've been thinking about upgrading to a G27 wheel from my current DFP, but I would want to have a simple option to mount the shifter.

Does anyone else have the same model of seat, and if so: have you been able to use the shifter adapter sold by Playseats in order to mount a G25/G27 shifter?

If nobody knows, I'll probably just drop a line to the folks at Playseats to see what they know about it, but I figured it was likely someone here has given it a shot.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

yes i have Playseats Classic...i use it with G25...it came with shift holder and two cylinderical plastics to fit the pedals to the plate...the dealer have a package for G25...I think it's a custom solution for G25...i don't think so that Playseats have already a shift holder...

Thanks for the reply. After getting your message I did a little more digging. It seems like it is possible to mount the G25/ G27 to this seat, but not without modifying the seat and (in some cases) the pedal assembly :yuck:

For me, I guess that means I'll be sticking to my DFP until I either get a new seat or until my DFP breaks and I have no choice but to upgrade.

Thanks for the response.
