Does fuel quantity affect weight?

I just need to know if the amount of fuel in the tank affects the overall weight of the car. A lighter car does corner better than a heavy one. If so, this will let me run quicker lap times on some of the longer races. Anyone help?

And another bit of useful information you might want to know since you will be strategizing a bit differently.

Anything over 12 liters of fuel will make your pit stop longer.

Check to see if there is a speed penalty for entering the pits that you might not be aware of. Usually just being on the brakes will solve an issue if it does exist.
