Does G27 paddle shifters work in GTP or not?

I have seen conflicting reports as to whether or not the paddle shifters work on the G27 with GTP. Does anyone have concrete knowledge of which it is? Thanks for your offerings!

I have heard only heard they don't, no reports that they do and this is from GTPers with the G27.

I am pretty sure this will be worked out from GT5 considering we know PD has G27 wheels.

They DO NOT work with GT5P. This is however the only game I am aware of that they don't work with.

Since I already have the driving force pro then it seems like I should wait until gt5 comes out & see if the paddles are then supported
